A Warriors Gaze: A Solomon Island Warrior leads his tribe onto the Honiara sports field as part of the welcoming ceremony. It was a spectacular show of colour and culture as delegates from all the pacific nations came dressed in traditional garments and performed traditional dances, songs and chants for the 30,000 strong crowd.

The Dawn Arrival:

After more than a week of sailing day and night from Vanuatu the fleet of Te Mana o Te Moana arrives in the Solomon Islands. The fleet of 7 Vaka Moana reef their sails and await the dawn welcoming ceremony with thousands of locals gathered on the beach. Conch shells are blown and haka performed announcing the arrival.

Future of the Pacific:
