Faces of the Middle East - A Christmas Prayer. Bishop of Christian Orthodox Church gathers with his congregation in an intimate prayer within the Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem. The church is considered one of the oldest and is adorned in gold and precious stone. Thousands of Christians gather within a tiny space for their chance to pray at what is considered to mark the birthplace of Jesus Christ.

Faces of the Middle East - Prayer.
With prayers written on paper and stuffed into every tiny crevice of the Western Wall, the flow of water behind the wall giving life to its many plantations that sprout randomly along its face, thousands gather daily and unite in prayer. This is a place of life and growth, a place of hope.

What gets portrayed in the media for the Israeli defence army often forgets to mention that behind the force lies nothing but bright eyed youth, looking for adventure, experience and justice. Elements that have all been morphed into a very powerful force.
