europe 2013 A where we can, when we can, account of our self drive trip around Ireland-Britain-France

The Flight

IRELAND | Tuesday, 3 September 2013 | Views [295] | Comments [2]

Three hours in a shuttle bus plus 22 hours flying, along with the stopovers in between, has taken it's toll on our minds and bodies.  No sleep for me and only a couple of hours for Janice but it's surprising what a nice hot shower can do.  Picked up our hire car at the airport and found our way to Mooretown north of Dublin where we're staying at a Bed & Breakfast for the night while we catch up with Janice's relatives.  First impressions, very like NZ.  The narrow country roads are a challenge though.  I'll definitely have to keep my wits about me while driving.  And I'm told they're even narrower in England!!

No 30 km long straight roads where you are now! A bit tough for an adopted aussie. Enjoy. We look forward to hearing about it all.
