Hard to find an "unholy" corner in India. Though an insignificant turning in a small street in the market, it hosts a Hindu temple with its meticulously detailed front tower- a south Indian architectural feature. Brings a divine touch to the otherwise mundane place.

Streets are the veins that carry life blood into these markets. Already narrow, they have been made more impassable by the monsoons. People and goods (mostly as head load and hand carts) find their way through all this and keep the market alive.

A compendium of tastes, it boasts mouthwatering snacks from every part of India. The variety of them evident from the colour, is true about the tastes too. The shopkeeper however is least affected by the aroma of it all, and has his eyes glued in the TV playing a Bollywood song!
