    I found this bench on the path connecting Chatham and Wafer bays in Cocos Island. The bench has not been used in a long time and nature was responsible for decorating it in a beautiful way. by: puntarenascr Views[153] The lush vegetation growing near Chatham Bay at Cocos Island. by: puntarenascr Views[228] The white color of the White Terns contrasts with the blue sky and the dark green color of the forest. These birds are also called “Palomitas del Espíritu Santo”. by: puntarenascr Views[193] It’s not necessary to live in one of the biggest and most populated cities in the world to have a hectic life and be surrounded by many stressors. Even if Costa Rica is sometimes considered a peaceful place, traffic, crowds of people and delinquency can make San Jose City a chaotic site. I had the opportunity to leave the city for a while and explore part of Costa Rican South Pacific area. I captured some images that represents moments of quietness, peace or simply the predomination of nature over human actions. Traditional fishermen coming back from a working day, the beautiful White Tern (Gygis Alba), or the tropical forest growing without inhibitions. Those scenarios and situations are part of the protected areas from the Southern Pacific zone of Costa Rica. 1st photo: Puntarenas Port.
