There is a sense of history and importance on every corner in the Old City of Jerusalem. There are religious symbols and paraphernalia in front of you at every, each side staking a claim. This picture is of a star of David drawn with chalk on a wall in an alley in the Old City. I focused on the star and left the people in the background as blurred silhouettes, to symbolise how in this country, and this city in particular, religion is considered more important than people.
