The landscape still looks eery years after Kilauea's lava stream covered the village.

After having to move to escape the lava, the villagers now embrace the black beaches created by the Kilauea volcano.

The volcano creates beautiful black sand beaches and looking at the ocean it is hard to believe there is an active volcano a mere two miles further down.
