    My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

    Hong Kong, China, an American tourist following driver's every move like a hawk while the cable car is starting its climb up the steep slopes of the highest peak in the new land of opportunity and fortune. All eyes are in Asia, this is the part of the world that worries America the most and to where people and businesses from all over the world are now gathering in the hopes of fast money. The fear reflects America's own insecurities and prejudices towards growing economies, the fear of loosing the last remains of its hegemony. What needs to be decided is whether to take the globalization as a threat or possibility!
