We live in a plastic world where looks and bank balances determine your value to the society. People are obsessed with fame and celebrities, even the police are there to entertain. Media and businesses create global trends and unrealistic expectations and try to capitalize with them in every turn, anything goes when it comes to marketing. We are slaves of market forces.

Washington DC, United States of America, empty corridors of the Congress library in the heart of political power. Calm before the storm, political decisions that affect the whole world, and set global crises free, come into being in these chambers of the Capitol. The rules and restrictions that confine the free world. Also glimpses of Asia’s lurk into the power play are to be seen.

Philadelphia, United States of America, a man, eaten by the darkness, vacuuming a shop window while the busy city life reflects from the glass that separates him from the rest of the world in the center of liberty and independence. The ones with a job can consider themselves lucky and many are working long hours with just a minimum wage. People are trapped in debt slavery, while leading a double life, and trying to keep up their facades. Opportunities are a rare when the jobs are moving to the cheaper and more productive countries. USA, only a reflection of what it used to be, is in crises.
