Well Gobey had to fly to Oz yesterday for an expat medivac,
but due to the timings he flew to Cairns he was able to fly back to Timika the
same day, but misses the chopper. So he stayed at the Rimba and would be up on
the first chopper in the morning. Yesterday I bought a very expensive Valentine’s
Day cake from the store, so we could have a nice tea tonight, forgot a card for
him so this is the best I can offer.
Gobey on the other hand has blown me away this year (and
it’s been a while since he did anything special for Valentine ’s Day). He spent
some pennies in the duty free and come home with a new white and green Baby-G
watch for me, chocolates for us to share and 2 bottles of the honey wild
bourbon that we have taken quite the taste too. Not a bad day to be honest.
