What to tell, what to tell. The short of it, grew up a Navy brat relocating every few years until my father retired and we settled in the "Little Apple". That's right, Manhattan, Kansas. Grew up there from 5th through 16th grade. That would be college, Kansas State University.
After KSU, the day after to be exact, I hopped in my Dodge and headed west. Moving to San Diego in May of '01. Started work in September of '01 for the Navy. In Facilities Engineering. Moved around within the Navy and now after 6 years I'm taking a leave of absence. Desire has always been there.
Guess I might have gotten the desire from being a Navy brat. Always moving around. Required to establish new friendships in every school. Wondering where we'd move to next.
Semester at Sea was my first real taste of travel. I went on the Fall 1999 voyage with my friend and college roommate Sean Carty. Whom I'll be traveling with this fall. We're headed to Central and South America.
