My Scholarship entry - 'Heaven above - deadly below'

I'm an open minded individual with an eye for detail and an inquiring personality. I began my Photography in 2010 with exposure to a broad spectrum of Genre's. A volunteer photographer for St Vincent de Paul Society (Wagga Wagga) I document through imagery the programs that help Multicultural Refugee's integrate into new surroundings.
I chose to apply for this Scholarship to lift the quality, substance and depth of my imagery and storytelling to promote and educate people about the benefits of looking after not only environments for Flora and Fauna but also for people and lands under critical stress. Closest to my heart is the beauty that comes from Flora and Fauna. Imagery from Zoo's or privately owned environments can bring a positive experience but can be limiting and could never replace a lifetime opportunity to study under the guidance of Master Photographer, Jason Edwards.
With a background in Policing and Small Business, my life flows around years of extensive life experience, strong work and moral ethics and a willingness to learn and re-learn skills until I succeed. I can and have worked in high pressure situations and accept tuition and constructive comments well.
