On the body of water and surrounding marshes that is the Corroboree Billabong, where we crept through at the height of saltwater crocodile mating season, this Snakeneck Darter was found up in the Paper Gums, out its feathers and warming its body after its dive-bomb feeding.

Arnhem Land is alive and buzzing with creatures of all shapes and sizes. Many of the animals are not used to human coexistence around them, therefore display no fear when one approaches. This little skink came out to bath in the burning sun and was as curious in me as I was in it.

One of the most beautiful natural spectacles on Earth, Katherine Gorge showed off all of her glory on the day we cruised down her waters. This shot was taken during a transition from one boat in a part of the Katherine Gorge, to another boat that would take us deeper into the Gorge.
