Here the land road ends and the sea begins. From here you have to take a boat to continue your journey to one of may small islands in the Finnish archipelago.

The end of an era. The small school has now closed its doors after 100 years. My grandmother was a teacher and my mother went to this school. My cousin would have started his first year at this school this autumn but it fell victim of the governments new politics. Not a good start for the new generation on Pellinki.
