    Mid-week ocean peelers as local surfers tried to get amongst the amazing waves on offer. Try stay alert though, as everyone is trying to get a piece of the action! I had to climb down a mini cliff of rocks as the tide came in to get into position for this beauty, well worth it. by: paulygee Views[154] The day is just starting and surfers alike are already in the water patiently waiting for a chance at that perfect ride. Heading out into the breakers is a stand up paddle boarder trying to navigate his way as the surprisingly harsh sun rises from beneath the clouds. by: paulygee Views[156] This to me personally, is one of my very favourite shots. A completely original shot (as you can see from my horizon) I did of north Burleigh as a long exposure looking towards the southern end point where my other shots are taken from. This shot puts into perspective the raw and natural beauty around this area, and begins to show why it is so loved by the community around these parts. by: paulygee Views[149] A calming moment in time to take in the early morning sunrise. I frantically tried to get down to the waters edge and into position to capture this one as heavy clouds swept across the city skyscrapers of Surfers Paradise in the background. by: paulygee Views[570] Whilst down at Burleigh on a lovely busy Sunday afternoon of sun and sea. I captured this little surfer dude trying to sneak up and scare the seagulls nearby, as soon as he did his hands were up for cover and he ran like crazy, typical. This image tells a good story by itself and is a good reflection of the community and family culture around Burleigh Heads. by: paulygee Views[155]
