At home in the forest the Sumatran Orangutan has a population of less than 6000 individuals and is endangered with extinction. lowland tropical rainforest on the Island of Sumatra is their home and 'Place' in this space and time. This intelligent primate shares 97% of its DNA with humans and points to our own evolutionary journey from the rainforests over 6 million years ago.

The lush mountain rainforest found in the wet-tropics bio-region of far northern Queensland, Australia, is home to Tree Climbing Kangaroo's, Southern Cassowary's and a seemingly infinite abundance of interconnected life-forms. This unique rainforest community is sustained by the high rainfall and humidity which allows streams like this one to flow continously througout the year.

The incredible humid rainforests of Borneo are not only some of the most biologically diverse ecological communities found on our planet, but are also an essential component of cloud formation and climate stability. Their conservation and restoration is critical for the sustainability of all life on Earth.
