This photographic series showcases the beautiful rainforest of Australia, Sumatra and Borneo. The sense of place felt within the rainforest eco-system has a grounding presence - ancient, primeval and very much alive.

This series tells a story of community; ecological identity and the interdependency of all life on Earth. For me, the Journey began in 2008 when I rode my bicycle solo over 2000km into the wet-tropics of far north Queensland. I experienced the exciting combination of conservation field-work and documentary photography.

My current work is focused on restoration ecology and I've always strived to integrate hands-on action with advocating awareness for positive sustainable change within human communities.
