The world through my eyes If it weren't for the last minute, nothing would get done!

We've arrived. Much later than anticipated, but we're holding it together.
Now then, how do we buy a bus ticket?

We've arrived in San Francisco!

The plane was delayed by a few hours, but apart from that the journey went very smoothly, and between us, we managed to negotiate the local transport pretty well.

It's very different from the lovely serene surroundings of Whistler, and in actual fact, both Lisa and I are finding it rather too busy so we won't be staying here too long.

There are some cool things to see here though, so we'll stay for a couple of days.

Marin county is just ten miles north east of the city, and is arguably the home of mountain biking and there's Alcatraz to see too.

Once that's done we're going to keep heading south.

I think the next couple of weeks will be a busy time!

Hope you get to see the redwoods, and then have a good journey south.

Pick up a copy of 'the Golden Gate' (Vikram Seth) if you get a chance - a good read.
