Sydney-Byron Bay

Those three rocks are called the three sisters. The Aboriginal story is that the three sisters were with a magic man who went hunting for their dinner. While he was hunting, the girls were playing up and throwing stones around which woke a monster that lived in the billabong. It's strength was such that the magic man couldn't overpower it and as a last measure, he turned the sisters to stone to protect them. The magic man then turned himself into a bird and flew into a cave. He lost his magic stick though, so the sisters are still rocks and the magic man is still a bird. Boo!
