THe back roads from lakes entrance to Canberra took us through the victorian alps. The oil and moisture from the eucalypts combined with dust and sunlightgive off a blue hue, just like in the blue mountains. It was perfectly quiet here so we all did a big COOEEE!! which echoed all around us for about 100 years.
