Here's a part of the underground rivulet. Pretty spooky eh? There was loads of good artwork down there.

So here's the Derwent bridge again. If you look 4 pillars along from the left, you can see where it's a bit fatter. A ship crashed into it in 1975 and took out that whole section. It took three years to repair and the city had to rely on a much smaller bridge 10kms north from here. (the one I had to use on the bike). It was a chaotic few years apparently!

The Cascade brewery. We had a brilliant guide. He made the visit really good fun! We got three free drinks afterwards. I think it helped a lot for the hike up the mountain.
