My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I bought my first DSLR in 2009 and has been carrying it everywhere ever since. I love to take pictures of interesting things that come across during my time of exploring the world. My favorite destination are places that sometimes common people never heard of, such as tiny ancient village in a mountain, or an old temple in the middle of a jungle , or a deserted island where i can wake up with baby sea turtles crawling from its eggs in front of my room. For me, photography is not just about taking memory or to show to somebody else, but it has been my passion to capture memorable events in such fashion that drives others to go to the places I went. By taking this opportunity, I am willing to learn from the best on how to become a professional travel photographer and i hope this can be a beginning to bring my hobby into a real profession in the future. Like people said, choose a job you love, and you will never work your whole life ;)
