Set close to the Pyrennes Mountains, the city of Pamplona in Basque County is a magical place to live or visit….the city of only a couple of thousand people, it is a rich city surrounded by rolling lush green mountains and quaint colonial Spanish ‘casas’, and has the magical capability of making you travel back in a bygone era! But don’t judge the city by how it looks because it has the highest level of pulse and energy when it comes to entertainment and good life! I had the good fortune of traveling to Spain during its annual ‘San Fermin Carnival’ festivities (Running of the Bulls, made famous in America by Ernst Hemingway stories) and more good fortune to enjoy the crazy fun party with the locals as Mar’s boyfriend, Javi is a ‘Guapo’ (cute boy) from Pamplona!
