Polar Up North
Greenland | Sunday, June 30, 2013 | 5 photos
Two of my great passions in life are travelling and photography. Even though I've been in few countries, I've more appreciation of my home, culture as well as the people I've met who helped me to become a much more open-minded as a result. I always bring my camera to every place I go, because any kind of great moment happens occasionally. I live in Northern Greenland, in a village named Naajaat. I will be more than helped to kick-start my photography career as 20 yrs old with this exceptional scholarship which will be a helping hand to shoot better photos in the nature which I am used to, on the other hand I will be able to see it in different angles if I am taught by great experienced photographers and even though the event is going to be in my home country I thought that would be the best location for me. After the scholarship I will be more than grateful to keep sharing pictures from my country to the rest of the world, because I love sharing lovely moments captured as well as I love taking pictures. Most of people from other countries think about ice when they imagine the nature of Greenland, but I have more than ice to offer them to show beauty of our nature and communities.
