Polar Up North

This photo was taken in high iso in winter, to capture most of the details as much as possible. Something which is unique about this one is that the light of that night was purple, and the northern lights were beautiful mixed with shiny stars. Also as you can see in the middle, a galaxy is visible, which is probably the Andromeda galaxy as I researched about it further. The weather is always very dry, clean and fresh in Northen Greenland, which makes it possible to see even more stars and galaxies with naked eyes.

This one was taken in Upernavik, Greenland.
I was in a hurry to go to an airport for a flight when I just suddenly caught a glimpse of a good spot to capture that moment. The northern lights were moving in a beautiful wavy way and in addition the town was quiet, no people in streets. There was lots of Christmas lights mixed in the town, because it was just after Christmas when I arrived there. With everything I mentioned before, this photo is beautiful.

In Northern Greenland there is a village close to Upernavik which has gigantic icebergs close to it every year; the village is called Innaarsuit.
I went there not sol long ago with my dad when I heard about the iceberg and found a good spot to use the house as a background.
I really like the details here; the house is a very common hunter house nowadays, as you can see there is a polar bear skin hanging outside and there is bunches of equipments by the hunter who lives in the house. In addition there is a bird which is on the top of the iceberg on the right side which also caught my attention. I really love to mix up lots of different color sometimes, as you can see here. I
