Before you leave the place you will be receiving drops of holy water, from a fountain next to the church. None knows from where the water comes. Another miracle in this miraculous place...

In each church of the 13 churches a priest welcomes the pilgrims to receive a blessing by kissing the crosses, which are unique in shape, theological explanation and mystical meaning. As you will be receiving the blessing he is whispering a few prayer words. The moment seems a transition to another world, beyond this one...

The Liturgy in the churches is over and the people are going back to their homes. But the priests and the monks will be staying as unsleeping guards protecting the churches and welcoming the tourists, even at the noonday under the African sun...
