I am an undergraduate student at UMass Dartmouth studying marine biology. I currently do research studying the effects of stress on local shark species.
I come from a small, remote town in Western Massachusetts. I grew up spending time roughing it in the outdoors camping, hiking, climbing, etc. I reached the rank of Eagle Scout with the BSA through my love for the outdoors.
I have translated my love for the outdoors and for meeting new people into a distinct love for travelling. I have no reservations about rough living conditions and I get a thrill out of the stress of travelling. Running through an airport or train station in order to make connections is one of the most exciting things in life. The huge reward of actually being able to go to different places near and far makes travelling my favorite thing to do.
