Gone North after 22 years living in the Lower Mainland, BC I am finally returning home. I leave torn, as I have come to know the Tsawwassen First Nation "Land facing the Sea" people and I have grown to love them dearly.

In Yellowknife

CANADA | Sunday, 12 August 2007 | Views [352]

I think I broke some records for the amount of time it took me to get to Yellowknife. The only thing that slowed me down were the bison on the McKenzie Highway. They were all over the side of the road and I was told not to speed by them as they will suddenly lurch in front of your vehicle, so as much as it pained me I drove quite slow. I took a few picks which I will download soon.

I like Yellowknife. I wasn't sure what I would find as I haven't been here in over 20 years. It's a nice little city with a lot of people I haven't seen in years so I look forward to running into people.

MOre later.
