for months now i've been planning a trip to morocco, after years of dreaming of going to morocco - i have very high hopes since almost every single person i've met who's been there has loved the country and the people and the food and the landscapes and the cities and the seashore - the only real city we'll spend time in is Marrakech and when i ask people of any age about Marrakech they all get a dreamy look in the eye and the tone of the voice drifts off somehow...can't wait!
i'm actually off to Kentucky tomorrow for the weekend to visit several cousins and then my intrepid cousin Kelly is joining me for the great adventure
first report will be of the Keeneland race meeting great for people watching and also watching magnificent horses and maybe laying down a couple of small bets :-)
