Another unexpected twist was witnessing a gathering at a local temple for the Sunday prayers. What was unexpected was to see traditional musicians and dancers at a temple rarely seen by tourists. As we watched from a overhead walkway, we felt like eavesdroppers in a spiritual communication. Of course that didn’t stop me from clicking this photo before scurrying away.
