At the moment, i am online. Last night i got to bed around 8pm Paris time - after an and i ran around a french govt building (aka where we are staying) in our PJs to get hot chocolate - only 50 euro cents!) - and then woke up at 4am.
I'm online now asking Liz how to shrink jeans. Fascinating, yes? The hotel room, even when i turned the damn heater off, is really really warm. I only had one doona, pretty thin, and have been very warm all night.
Today the itinerary says:
- Musee Carnavalet (via Metro Saint-Paul) - we'll have a lecture there (oh no! learning!)
- Lunch at "Le Marais" (got a feeling i have to pay for this.. grr)
- A class on "les Grands Axes et l'urbanisme de Bonaparte a la Troisieme Republique" (basically urbanism and the changes made by Napolean)
- Diner at the hotel
- A class on "La plus belle ville qui puisse exister" (the most beautiful city that could ever exist - very modest) at 8pm
- finish!
so yeah. shall update with what actually happened later. Think i shall open my windows to cool down my room. Temp today due to be between 2-10 degrees, which is good considering it was 9 degrees yesterday. i think it's skirt day! ha ha xxx
