The bright colors and plentiful bikes of Stockholm distract the summertime visitor from the frozen winters the city experiences.

On the local train into the city, families, businessmen, and the rare tourist pay little notice to the beautifully polished wood and royal blue seats.

With a year round population of zero, Grinda's small cabins serve as getaways for Swedes from the mainland during the summer, especially around Midsummer Festival.
