    With a year round population of zero, Grinda's small cabins serve as getaways for Swedes from the mainland during the summer, especially around Midsummer Festival. Views[473] The bright colors and plentiful bikes of Stockholm distract the summertime visitor from the frozen winters the city experiences. Views[425] On the local train into the city, families, businessmen, and the rare tourist pay little notice to the beautifully polished wood and royal blue seats. Views[357] Outside of Stockholm on the small island of Grinda, flowers take advantage of the short summer months to brightly paint the fields.
