My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

As a young architect with a passion for traveling and meeting people, places and buildings, one of my most faithful companions has always been my camera.

Some of the sites that I explore on a regular basis, on my own or with a group of friends, are abandoned buildings or unusual spaces. When I first started, taking photos was a way to catalogue these landscapes but, recently, it became one of my greatest passions.

My desire to become a better photographer has often driven me to wake up before sunrise to go back to the sites that fascinate me and refine my imagery vision at each single click, so that I can share artistically what I saw.

Despite having no formal training in photography, I have a great desire to learn, so that I can express my stories better and share the feelings of the sites that I discover. I have a dream that this passion, absorbing more and more time of my life, can eventually grow to become a professional activity. So, I see this scholarship, with Jason Edwards as a mentor in the breathtaking territory of Greenland , as a unique opportunity and as a huge step to pursue my dream.
