MAWAZO...(swahili for thoughts)

Our content was inspired by the historic world cup in Africa 2010, from Nairobi, Kenya to Cape Town, SA. During the 24 day road trip we met locals from 6 different countries and globe trotters from around the world.The trip enlightened us on the different cultural practices but similar basic needs and wants;no matter what our race, religion or responsibilities, we are one!
My filmmaking experience has been personal home videos, with a few projects produced for friends and my local church. These included some independent movies, some weddings, and Village Musicals.
My ambition as a filmmaker/presenter is to produce wholesome infotainment that helps foster understanding of various cultures during this critical period when the world is transitioning into globalization. My desire is to create content for a global audience that inspires interaction, and participation in local projects which lead to international friendships that demystify the different cultures and encourage sustainable cooperation on projects. Winning this scholarship will be a dream come true.
The camera has been the love of my life and mentor-ship would be a once in a lifetime opportunity I'll treasure forever.
