This picture is a tribute to the greenery in a small hill station in the Western Ghats in the state of Maharashtra, India. It offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, forests and valleys.

I have always loved trekking. My hobby of trekking and photography seems to complement each other. Each time I have explored a different terrain, I have ended up capturing some of the best moments in my camera. This might look like a race track which every racer might want to race upon. It is in fact an express highway which connects two important cities in India, Mumbai and Pune.

This is one of the many waterfalls that are found in the beautiful hill station of Mahabaleshwar in India. The uniqueness about this waterfall is the purity of water which is crystal clear. The thunderous sound of the water falling from a height combined with the mystic weather makes one simply admire the beauty of nature.
