Many apartment buildings and homes such as this have been left untouched and in ruins off the fronts lines of where the Croats and Bosnians were fighting near 20 years ago.

The Croat–Bosniak War took place in the city of Mostar between 1992-1995.
The juxtaposition of the newly built and left destroyed buildings can be seen all over the city of Mostar.
