About morrisvais
Treptower Park is divided by Puschkinallee and while one side hosts a Russian monument this area was found by just a random walk. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to photograph some girl there. Despite being surrounded by man made roads it seemed untouched and virgin as the vegetation grew almost to your knees. I wanted a natural background against the girls and this tiny area was a mirage.
I believe in beauty. For the last 15 years I have wanted to photograph as many girls, women as possible. A casual look, a serious and mysterious face. A light against eyes that are green, blue and brown. The blackness of a hair, the blond of wildness, the smile of surrender. Sometimes a daily subway ride is a heartbreak because not every girl desires to be photographed or doesn't know or understand her potential. But every now and then I come across one that will say yes, that will take a leap of faith of me behind the camera pointing and shooting. Let me not be away from such moments, against beautiful backgrounds and simple ones. Let me know that your eyes will meet me in a tiny frame but a lasting capsule of amazing, sexy and hopeful beauty.
