Sand Rising - Located in the world oldest desert, the sand dunes and mountains of the Namib-Naukluft National Park make up the 4th largest game park in the world covering an area of almost 50,000km2. A unique landscape with unique ecology and average annual rainfall of only 100mm per annum. Sand dunes rise to heights of greater than 300m, creating a imposing barrier to the cold southern atlantic winds which bring vital moisture to the landscape. Namib-Nauklft National Park, Namibia.

The Boss - Never far from his pride and most active during the cool mornings and evenings, this large male casually searches for a cool shady spot to rest during the midday heat. The Lion population of Etosha National Park is around 350 individuals. Etosha Pan, Etosha National Park, Northern Namibia.

The Namibian Pyramid -
A true sucess story in Namibian conservation efforts. Founded in 1992, the NamibRand Nature reserve covers over 2000km2 of former farm lands and shares a 100km border with the Namib-Naulkaft National Park. Financed by low impact eco tourism, the private game reserve has been restored with the removal of over 1500km of fencing, allowing native populations of fauna and flora to retake the landscape.
