Sand Rising - Located in the world oldest desert, the sand dunes and mountains of the Namib-Naukluft National Park make up the 4th largest game park in the world covering an area of almost 50,000km2. A unique landscape with unique ecology and average annual rainfall of only 100mm per annum. Sand dunes rise to heights of greater than 300m, creating a imposing barrier to the cold southern atlantic winds which bring vital moisture to the landscape. Namib-Nauklft National Park, Namibia.
