Hello everyone,

I am now in Egypt! Cairo specifically. Met up with my buddies, megan, shannon and marshall and it is so good to see them, it is surreal to to walking through the streets of cario all of us, it is crazy and wonderful. the city is amazing, it is so lively, people, animals, cars, moterbikes. The markets we walked around were fantastic, got off the beeten tourist track and enjoyed the local streets, smells, and people. Great lunch of Koshari, a mix of lentils, fried onions, pasta, garbonzo beans, rice, and topped tomato sause. Went to the top of the minerets of these old gate way to the city and had a staggering view of the city, as far as you could see, cairo layed out around us. smoggy but amazing view. pigon coops on many roofs, typically food here, minerets all over, they are so beautiful. Wandering all day, pastries, pomaganets, and tea (does not compare to moroccan tea but good). Wonderful to be with friends in a new city.

tomorrow we are heading to the white desert for two days (look up pictures online, it is crazy). will up date more soon, love you all...

Yikes! So many destinations since I last checked in! And FOOD! Ok, I'm envious too.
And I know you're a great ambadador when our reputation has gotten so shady...
Keep having a fantastic Journey! Love, Web.
P.S. It's not Morocco but I'm going to New York for Halloween.

Hi Monica,

Where are you? If my calculations are right I think you are visiting Mt.Sinai or the Red Sea. We are very excited to hear from you :) Mom

Hi Monica!
It's your parents' friend from Miami of Ohio, Kent Weber. I continue to stay in touch with your dad and he's told me of your fantastic journey. I've looked through the blog and it all looks and sounds like the adventure of a lifetime. I also know your journey is nearing its end, so I hope your trip home is safe and pleasant. I know everyone there misses you and will be VERY happy to see you home. Have a fantastic holiday!
Best regards,
"Uncle Kent"
