Among the giant walls of rock and sand. This lonely rock formation in the middle stands still as if it is a figure of a lonely soldier. The locals call this rock "still soldier" because of its look and posture.

6 Million years ago these towers of conglomerate rock were under the water of the ancient lake that covered Thesally, a valley in Central Greece. Now they are defined by a rich history and past.Meteora is an Unesco Heritage Park and a world known climbing location for climbers from around the world.Meteora is said to be the place where climbing was born since the first climb there was done by hermits between the 9th -10th century.
