Nectarine or peach. Growing in a reserve this fruit blossom looks delicate against the hardier looking surrounds of olives and native gum trees.

This flower was sitting just off the pavement, this variety of plants are scattered throughout my suburb and grow wild on easements and in gardens. But the bright streaked colours make them beautiful.

The pea flowers are a study in contrasts having delicate wing petals but strong centres. The plant uses itself and others for support in gaining height growing to stand proudly beside the track.
