Bread making day. Shortly after breakfast we got on the bread making crew and got started. Joey was in charge of firing up the cob oven, which involves him stoking a fire in the cob oven for three hours. It is very hot! I helped a couple of other girls make 5 dozen bagels and 10 loaves of bread. We even had time to roast garlic before the cob oven lost heat. It was a new experience baking in a non-traditional oven. It started to rain early so that was all we were able to do that day. Best bagels we have ever eaten, brining back the recipe and maybe someday a cob oven.
