In my trip, I went to Mendalam River. That's one of many rivers in the Heart of Borneo area. The indigenous peoples depend to the river as their resources for living. When I arrived in their village, one big company is planning to do logging at upriver from this hamlet. Peoples refuse it. They have learnt from the terrible history among them. In early 2004, this area is a site of illegal logging. Then a big flood happened. Now, people are still fight to refuse the logging plan.
