The unlikely guardians of Jing Jin's thousands of deserted properties are teenage security guards, firm but polite in keeping visitors out of abandoned private property. Visitors are a rare sight in this sleepy city and it's hard to tell who's more curious: the inquisitive photographer or the bored guard.
