UNITED KINGDOM | Tuesday, 23 September 2008 | Views [513] | Comments [2]

We got a little bit more of a sleep in one our last morning in Oban. which was nice because it was a big night the night before...
We all slowly arose and had a quick bite to eat then headed off, on our way to the Robert the bruce church. On our way tho we were on a look out for hairy coo's (we would say cow'z). We stopped and got out and got some good photos. some up close and some just standing back. I got nice and close then i think i may have scared the little coo and he kinda took some backwards steps.
off to the church, it was so beautifull. I would love to get married in it. it was really big and h\ad awesome views over the water and you could see another castle over the other side.
After leaving the we headed to get some lunch at the Drovers inn. Its was really creapy and had stuffed animals everywhere. There was a 2 headed baby lambs and a big bear and so many other things. There is also 2 different old mens ashes there in 2 shot glasses because they spent most there time there the wifes let a bit of them there. One of the men had a heart attact there one night and died but the body collectors couldnt come out right away due to weather so they put a sheet over him on the floor and the night kept going, drinking music ect. strange people out that way...
Next stop Loch awe. the water was so still till we arrived here. there were pro people there takin photos because it was so still. then we arrived and started throwing rocks in it...hahaha.... it was a little funny for us, maybe not for them. We also learnt here how to make a kilt and all the different ways to wear them. I got to help ruth make it... pretty exciting. not hard tho.
Next stop was to the monthy pythan castle. in the movie they go to like 5 different castles but really its only 2 castle that get used and the one we went to was used 3 times, the other one you cant really get to. We all stood at the bottom then charge towards to castle, I havent seen the movie but apparently they charge towards it and say something i donno really. After leaving there we headed to the William Wallace monument. We all walked up there only about 10 min walk up hill and when we got up the top dan was saying "what is pricking me" in the chest only to open his jacket and find he had his fishing hook stuck in there... oh what a dick. Had some great views of all over stirlling. Very beautifull again.
From there it was the end and we headed back to Edinburgh. end of tour. from here we parted ways with Amy. She went her way and Dan jess and I went to the train station to wait for out train to get back to pitlochry... Home home home..... it way an awesome trip i loved it so much. I learnt so much about the history and about some of the aussie history where it came from. Made some good friends on the trip and had a ball.
Love you all
Ill try get more photos on here soon.
Otherwise some photos on my facebook.

Take care

Hi Mel, any bad habits that jess may exhibit are a direct result of hers fathers upbringing. Any beautiful, kind and well mannered traits that Jess displays are a direct result of her gorgeous mothers parenting skills !!!!!!!
Glad you are enjoying your time in scotland.

Mel, did I see dribble coming out of the corner of Jess' mouth????? Beautiful photo's of the country side. And I agree with Mandy..........Your's and Dan's bad habits obviously from your dad, definately. Good one's are from your mum and her wonderful parenting skill's. Yep....I tell myself that all the time. Is it quiet and boring without Amy? She will be having a ball catching up with Sarah. Love you all.
