    Seeing yourself as you want to be is the key to personal growth. Sometimes travel allows you to see yourself in a totally different way, and each time you return home hopefully the lessons learned will allow you personal growth.....This day the weather was perfect, and the water was like glass....I bet he was saying One by one....they line up to take the plunge into the freezing water. Watching the penguins was one of the best parts of the trip, they are so much like humans, sometimes orderly, other times bickering, sometimes just totally funny! Views[174] As one day ends another begins. It was pretty amazing to experience almost 24 hours of daylight.....so there never was a sunrise or sunset, but the sky was absolutely stunning this day. If I only had a warning system to let the penguins know this baby killer was on his way :( .....but that is all part of the circle of life you see in Antarctica. His wing span was amazing and the feather colors offered great contrast once he landed to the pure pristine snow. This is not the best advice when in Antarctica, if you are paving the path you will have tired legs by the end of the day! It is much easier following a broken in trail. One of the most amazing things about Antarctica was some places we stopped there easily may have never been a person to step in the exact place you were standing / walking, and the snow was so perfect and untouched in many spots it was unbelievable to experience.
