My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I'm a 32 year adventurous explorer who by day registers medical devices with global health authorities. I'm lucky that my job affords me the opportunity to travel and explore this beautiful world. I use my evenings, and weekends to breakout from behind my computer to dive in to the world around me, and express my creativity.

There is something unique about the ability to travel and capture the world through your lens. With each photo, each place I am, I feel like I'm creating a documentary, helping to recount that moment. This past year I started photographing more people during a trip to Vietnam, it was a challenge at first but the more I did it, the more I loved to tell someones story through my pictures. With each trip I take, I like to try out new techniques, or challenge myself and continue to see my skills evolve.

I would be privileged to have the opportunity to learn from one of the best, and visit one of the most beautiful places on earth which would allow me to take that next step with my photography.
