- On tour this morning on the bus for 9.30am. City tour of BA. Plenty of history, architecture and culture. Highlights were:
- Plaza Del Mayo where the Casa Rosada family residential palace is (huge pink house)
- Rich of the north - very different comparison to 10 mins indirection where you are then in th slums where poorest of people live in the city. Note too that all the fountains in the city do not have water in them this is to stop the poor people washing and bathing in them etc. this is really sad. there is a huge gap berwwen the haves and the have nots.
- Recoleta cemetary - this where famous and not so famous live after death. it really is an amazing place with mausoleums the size on apartments. most famous one was Eva Peron's.
- LaBoca district and San Telmo- the birthplace of the Tango.
